Floating high above the ground, you have a spectacular, uninterrupted view of the gorgeous countryside below. Hot air ballooning is one of the oldest forms of flight known to man, but today can be tailored to meet the needs of the public.

A hot air balloon trip in the Magaliesberg will usually begin just before sunrise. You’ll gently lift off the ground to a height of approximately 10-20m and leisurely float along with the wind. At this height you’re able to have a glorious view of the sunrise as well as keep on the lookout for animals on the ground below. Most flights will start with beverages for the guest while the crew get the balloon ready. Guests will then board the balloon and enjoy their flight over the spectacular Magaliesberg area, with a glass of champagne. Upon landing, guests will be treated to Champagne and orange juice as the crew packs up the balloon. Guests are then transported back to the launch site where they are served a luxury breakfast to end off the experience.
